Assitive Technology in the Assessment Process (School Aged Children)

In this tutoral, I was able to learn more about the asssessment process for assitive technology for school aged children.  I did well on the pre-assesment, as I only got one incorrect.  I liked this tutorial as it explained the steps taken to level the playing field for students in need of assitive technology. It is a team process rather than one individuals responsibility to make decisions.  The IEP team begins the process for implementing assitive technology in the classroom but regular education teachers like me are responsible for giving input to the IEP team and for upholding the assitive technology requirements in the classroom.  Progress monitoring and data collection are also important as they help check on a students progress with the assitance of technology
