Cool Math Games

Cool Math Games!  Cool and math together, yeap and that's the title of the website, too (Coolmath-games.com)!  This student and family friendly site helps students learn math while playing non-violent games.  There is also a reading and science section as well.  Part of the strategy of this site is forcing students to use logic and strategy to plan and thus also use higher order thinking skills to "win" a game.  Students do not realize that they are learning while having fun.  This site is the most popular math website game being used on the internet today, as there are over 21 million users.



I do not teach math, but this site also has yes, Cool Geography Games!  In teaching my students about the different states, I would use this site to help my students remember the map of the United States!

    I love the visuals you added to the post. It really makes your post pop and attract the eye. I think math games are very important and engage students. They are learning and practicing while playing a game. Great post!
